		<description>I suspect (history will show if I am right) that two key things happened with the Captain of the Costa Concordias leadership
1. He was in denial about the problem because he was personally responsible for the change in direction that took the ship on to the rocks
2. He was more concerned about his reputation and guilt than he was about leading his 4000 passengers to safety.

I know Captains of organisations in denial about their sinking ship - this endangers the passengers and results in strange stories about what is happening that lack credibility.</description>
